Tim is a Co-Founder & General Partner at Grand Ventures, a $80M early-stage venture firm based in Grand Rapids that invests in innovative Fintech, Dev Ops, Digital Health & Supply Chain technology companies based in the US and Canada.  

Tim has 18+ years of Fintech operating and investing experience dating back to 2006 at HSBC, where he commercialized disruptive new high-tech consumer finance products. Tim has led business development & marketing in start-up environments and has planned, launched, fundraised for & operated a start-up technology business.

Tim graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
