Jim is a venture investor, community builder and startup advisors. He has spent the past 10+ years working both as an investor and an operator. He was most recently the Managing Director of an early-stage investor in Michigan that made 132 investments into 56 early-stage Michigan tech startups. He is one of the co-founders of the VentureNext community, a group of 300+ venture capitalists that aim to increase collaboration, community and capital in underserved VC markets.
