Dr. Dawn Batts’ diverse professional experiences and research have led to her solutions-based approach in addressing the myriad of factors causing economic disparities experienced by women and African American entrepreneurs.As the CEO of Milestone Growth Capital Institute, Dawn secures resources to support diverse angel investors and entrepreneurs. She previously served as the Director of Growth Capital at TechTown Detroit where she was the curator of the Catalyst Angel Program and Tech Start-up Fund. Dawn was also a co-founder of Commune Angels.Dawn serves on the Michigan Early-Stage Venture Investment Corporation Board, the Angel Capital Association Board, and is a member of Living Cities Inclusive Capital Council.
