Austin is an international educator and Lecturer of Game Development / XR at the University of Michigan’s College of Engineering, co-founder of the International Game Developers Association (Ann Arbor Chapter), and President of Arbor Interactive, a local game and software development firm (https://www.arborinteractive.com). His students have gone on to leadership at Naughty Dog, Santa Monica Studio, Unity, Niantic, Epic Games, and Riot Games among many others.
