As you know, the innovation community made great strides in working together last year to advocate for the Michigan Innovation Fund, resulting in $60M and Michigan’s first large scale innovation investment in decades..
Building off of that collaboration and others, we are hoping to take the next step into collaboration in order to bring more wins like that to our important piece of the Michigan economy in the future.
At Michigan Tech Week next month, we plan to announce the launch of a new alliance, a partnership of organizations who see the possibilities of aligning and uniting on a single playbook for leveraging Michigan’s innovation assets and closing our gaps.
I’d like to invite you to hear more about the vision for this forthcoming alliance, and to be sure you are part of it. Each of us has a role to play, and this alliance is about amplifying and strengthening our work as individual organizations and as a collective community driving Michigan’s economy forward.
